Our favourite four-star is run by the charming Willy & Sophie Lingg. It is relaxed in style, with only 35 rooms, and offers the chance to sample both excellent Thai and Japanese cuisine in its à la carte restaurants. The prices are good value and bed-and-breakfast options are available.
There is a cosy lounge with a central fireplace which adjoins the art-deco wood-panelled bar. The dining room is divided into separate areas giving an intimate feel to the atmosphere.
