Alpenrose (Wengen)

Built in 1881, Hotel Alpenrose has been run and owned by the same family for over 100 years and is the oldest hotel in the whole of Wengen.

The Hotel Alpenrose is situated in the Jungfrau ski area in a quiet and pleasant location with stunning views into the valley of Lauterbrunnen and the surrounding snow capped mountains. Located in the quieter, lower part of the village the hotel is only a 10-minute walk from the closest lift. 

The hotel has a traditional alpine chalet style. Enjoy the roaring log fire in the lounge after a day on the slopes. The modern dining room offers a hearty buffet style breakfast and a fine half board set menu is served in the evenings. The hotel has 40 bedrooms.
