Ducs de Savoie
The Ducs de Savoie is in the heart of Val d'Isere, yet conveniently set back from the main busy thoroughfares. It nestles in a side street close to the pedestrianised area and affords easy access to the centre, the main ski-lifts, the nursery ski area and all the resort facilities.
It's just a 350m stroll to the three main high-speed lifts. The Solaise Express goes straight up to Solaise at 2,560m and a choice of lifts and runs. Alternatively, choose the Bellevarde Express or the Olympique gondola to Bellevarde's long cruising runs and the connections to Tignes. The children's ski area and adult nursery slopes are in the same area as these lifts. The excellent free ski bus stops just 30m from the Ducs de Savoie, to take you to Le Fornet or La Daille for an alternative starting point.
The Chalet Hotel has a lounge and bar on the ground floor where the pre-dinner apéritifs are served before guests move on to enjoy evening meals with complimentary wine and tea or coffee in the attractive dining-room. There is a warm and welcome atmosphere in the communal areas with comfortable furnishings and warm wooden decor.
There are a selection of rooms, from twins to triples, to larger family rooms and suites. All bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom and a flat-screen TV (with some UK channels) and incorporated DVD.
