Chalet Les Tissourds

Chalet Les Tissourds is a wonderful Maison de Pays, beautifully restored and refurbished in 2009, a self catered chalet in a class of its own. Built originally in 1924 the chalet is brilliantly located, just a 5-10  minutes stroll to the centre of Chamonix and near fabulous restaurants.  

Set on a quiet road it has spectacular views up to Mont Blanc, the Glacier des Bossons and across to Brévent on the other side of the valley.

A modern design within a classic alpine setting, the chalet is a mixture of old and new.  The interior is furnished with hand-made Ben Whistler furniture complementing the innovative design and open-plan layout creating a Contemporary feel typical in stylish Chamonix.

On the ground floor, there is an open-plan kitchen and living room with French windows that open out onto a pretty garden, plus a kit room and a cloakroom. There is a separate dining room.

On the lower ground floor, there is a cosy snug with sofas, beanbags and a 130cm TV.  Next door is a Relax in the garden Jacuzzi enjoys wonderful views toward Mont Blanc.

The chalet boasts four bedrooms and three bathrooms and is just a five-minute walk on foot to the Aiguille du Midi cable car and centre of the town. There is also a boot room to keep gear warm between ski days.
