Hotel Edelweiss & Gurgl

Established in 1889, Hotel Edelweiss & Gurgl is one of Obergurgl’s most outstanding hotels. Located in a south-facing ski-in ski-out position, the hotel is located directly in the town centre with two ski lifts outside. The Scheiber family have been running this popular hotel for over 100 years. A focal point for the whole village, it has a reputation as one of the best family hotels in the Alps. Decorated in a luxurious rustic style, guests can enjoy stunning views throughout. 

Located in the middle of an idyllic town Obergurgl, Hotel Edelweiss & Gurgl offers 132 stylish rooms, all furnished in a unique, elegant style. Following a 2015 renovation, the hotel now offers several new suites and spacious luxury rooms on the 5th and 6th floors; each room and suite offers magnificent views of the surrounding landscape.

The wellness centre in Hotel Edelweiss & Gurgl makes it a popular choice for families with an indoor and outdoor pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and gym. There is an after skiing kindergarten from 16.30 every day (except Saturdays) for younger guests for children from 4 years old. The hotel is available on a half board basis offering a continental breakfast buffet and evening meal.
