We can work with you to plan a ski holiday that suits your individual needs, including accessible accommodation and access to ski schools with instructors (coaches) who have experience with neurodiverse and additional needs skiers.
Yes, both first time and more experienced skiers can take part in a ski holiday. Each individual will have an experienced instructor (coach) with them for as much or as little support as they need.
Tailor-made ski holiday packages often include: flights, accommodation and airport transfers. We will organise ski lessons with specialist instructors (coaches) that are experienced in working with neurodiverse and additional needs students. Our client services team can organise any extras such as equipment hire and lift passes.
Yes, if agreed with the instructor (coach) beforehand, carers and family members can be involved with specialist lessons so the whole family can enjoy the ski holiday.
Support may include adaptive equipment for students with physical disabilities, as well as accessible accommodation. The specialist lessons will be with instructors (coaches) who have experience with neurodiverse and additional needs students. The instructors (coaches) will also have an understanding of the needs of the individual student, so lessons can be tailored accordingly.
Yes, we strongly recommended getting travel insurance, especially to cover potential illness, cancellations, or equipment issues.
Yes! The Snow Sports Foundation (SSF) offers ski lessons through Snowbility, who operate in the indoor slopes of Hemel Hempstead, if you would like to test out your skills before heading to the mountain. They offer excellent support for neurodiverse and additional needs individuals who are learning to ski and snowboard.
